Day 176 – Single Yellow Rose

Today, my family and I had the pleasure of visiting some good friends of ours who have recently finished a long restoration project on their house that was originally built around 1859. The house looks fantastic as they have restored and decorated the house using period decor, colours and have been true to the materials used in the original construction. Even going as far as sourcing reclaimed oak flour boards from America. What struck me as a photographer was the amazing natural light in the house. So I couldn’t resist capturing this simple single yellow rose that was bathed in natural coming in through the kitchen windows.
