I was walking back to my car after picking up some prints today from my OM2 and I spotted this girl getting some passport photos in a photobooth.
Though it would make a great 365 shot for day 244. So I whipped out my Leica setting the aperture to f/2 as I did, framed the shot, focused and snapped. I only got one shot off as lots people walked into frame immediately after I pressed the shutter button. By the time the people had passed the girl had emerged from the photobooth and had left the scene. Maybe I’m wrong but I feel I would not have been able to get this shot with a DSLR.
Shot details :- ISO 160, 50mm, 0 ev, f/2, 1/250
Hi Stephen … I like this shot a lot, it provokes my imagination … I recall someone I know once saying a similar concept would be a great idea for a whole series of photos (which they then decided not to do) … but now that I see yours I think it most certainly is … maybe you have the beginning of something special here …
