Kid With The Cap – Leica M9 Master Shot

I’m still blown away with the 50mm Summilux on my M9. The ability of this lens to separate the subject from the background at f/1.4 is brilliant, almost giving the shot a kind of 3D quality.

I took this shot of my son Jack with simple window light behind the camera. I liked it so much that I submitted it to the LFI Leica Master Shots gallery and I’m happy so say it was selected by their reviewers.
